You crave deep, connected intimacy in your marriage or relationship… and you know in your heart that something needs to change.
You’re smart to seek wisdom and guidance from an experienced relationship coach now, whether it’s a really rough patch or things don’t seem too bad yet.
While traditional talk therapy is a great option for some couples, for others it can be a long-suffering nightmare.
With the right approach and the right mentor, you can change the trajectory of your relationship in big, positive ways!
If you’ve tried a few (or more!) therapists and haven’t seen any significant changes in your relationship, I want to invite you to try something different:
Relational Life Therapy
Many couples come to me saying:
“We’ve heard so many great things about you! You helped our friends get great results in their relationship and we already know we want to work together! We’ve been desperate to work with someone who will be straightforward with us and we were told you aren’t afraid to tell it like it is!”
Hi, I’m Dr. Pam Staples
Certified Relational Life Coach & Retired Psychologist
I’ve been helping couples get results for over 35 years. I often hear some version of the quote above when someone reaches out to me for the first time.
It’s true. I’m perceptive, warm, gentle, and compassionate with all my clients... but I’m also a straight-talker and a truth-teller.
The couples who work with me are facing painful obstacles. They need to see actual, meaningful changes in their relationship — and they need to see it happen quickly. They can’t get the results they are seeking if they are working with someone who can’t be straightforward with them.
It’s my personal style of coaching combined with the Relational Life Therapy model that sets me apart from other couples coaches and therapists:
RLT is a short-term, results-oriented version of coaching that brings dramatic and significant change. Are you ready to crack the code to finding relational joy with your partner?
My Credentials
I hold a Master’s Degree (1984) and a Doctoral Degree (1993) in the field of psychology and have been in the profession for 37 years.
I have been certified in Relational Life Therapy since 2008. I also have specialized training in Pia Mellody's Relational Trauma model from The Meadows in AZ. Terry Real built his RLT model on Pia's model, and I integrate both models in helping couples create significant change.
I retired my psychology license in 2018 to devote my practice to Relational Life Coaching. I love helping couples find their version of relational joy!
